Family portraits are fun.. and when you are able to capture their true smile it's even more rewarding. Here are some of the clicks my favorites.. These were taken using D5100 but then using a vintage 50mm f/2.0 manual lens estimated to be 30 years old and still works great.

This last pic is my favorite of the bunch her dad in the pic will tell you the story.

Family Portraits

Capturing family portraits was a fun task, this is my first time doing it in a controlled environment almost like a portable studio and i'm glad with the results. These are low key photos where most of the viewing area is dark except for the subjects.

I bought new macro filters and the following is the result of their use. I am so glad i spent $15 for them before investing in a $800 macro lens :)
